“Asia will be more and more integrated.” During the 2025 Boao Forum for Asia, lan Goldin, the Former Vice President of the World Bank conducted an interview with SFC journalist. He emphasized that while the U.S. will become less important or integrated in the global supply chains, the rest of the world's supply chains will become more integrated because there will be more investment.
He expected that with the diversification of the global supply chains, more aspects of globalization will be accelerated, from the integration of investment, trade, digital flows, people flows, and also cooperation.
